Oanh Kim Vo
Oanh was born and grew up in Hoi An ancient town. She graduated her BA in tourism and has worked many years in the tourism field also managed a yoga studio for years. As she finished her yoga teacher training in 2019, completed her MA in peace studies in 2024. She's aware that sustainable life is very important for humans and it comes from the mind. Inner peace can create outer peace. Her hometown is a tourist city famous in the world with different things to discover so she chooses to combine activities, local lifestyle, and yoga ,meditation find the ways to achieve true happiness.

Binh Minh Tran​
Minh has been learning and practicing yoga for over six years. She started her journey in the birthplace of yoga, Rishikesh, India. Minh first learned traditional Hatha, and then did her Sivananda teacher training. Later, she went on to be certified as an Iyengar Yoga Foundation. Along the way, she has immersed herself in various styles, shaping a teaching approach that blends alignment with intuitive movement—grounded yet fluid, structured yet free. Minh weaves yoga philosophy into her teachings, making every practice a profound experience for the body, mind, and spirit.

The holiday will take place in Hoi An, Quang Nam, Vietnam. Island Smiles Retreat is a member of Island Smiles Homestay. They are a local family running a small business that hopes to get some independent economic for their lives with homestays in Cham island, Hoi An. And Island Smiles Retreat has been organizing some wellness programs in Cham Island and Hoi An town too. The accommodation is located on the outskirts of the city. It has a cool garden, a swimming pool, and a peaceful scenery of ripe rice fields, just a few minutes walk to the yoga studio at Le Thanh Tong street, close to Ba Le local market.

With nearby rice fields, you can walk down or bicycle to admire the fields. It is about one and a half kilometers to the town and An Bang and Cua Dai beaches. It is the perfect place for you to move around Hoi An. At a convenient location, you can easily take bicycles to explore the area during your holiday and stay with a local resident to experience the Vietnamese lifestyle and exchange Vietnamese culture too.


Food

You will be offered vegetarian and vegan food during this program. Hoi An has so many different vegan and vegetarian restaurants for those who love experiencing Vietnamese vegan cuisine. It just takes 10 minutes from the accommodation to the restaurants by bike.
